Sound like fun? Here's everything you need to know about the event.

All Day DevOps 2018

All Day DevOps 2018 is a free, online event that offers over 100, 30-minute sessions across five tracks. The tracks for this year’s event include Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Cloud-Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, Cultural Transformations, and Site Reliability Engineering. The event will also feature a live Q&A on Slack so attendees can participate.

Save the Date: October 17, 2018

The annual 24-hour online event will start on Thursday October 17 at 3:00 a.m. EDT. XebiaLabs is hosting the only Boston-area viewing party, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. We'll be projecting the sessions and will have a ton of food, drink, and swag for anyone that stops by. Our office is located at 52 Third Avenue in Burlington, MA.

The DevOps Experts

With over 20 sessions across each track, attendees will get to pick and choose what topics to tune into based on their specific needs and interests. Whether you want to get deep into the technical weeds of learning how to build a secure CI/CD pipeline for Kubernetes or want to discover how to overcome the cultural roadblocks of adopting DevOps in a large enterprise, there's an All Day DevOps session for you. TJ Randall, XebiaLabs’ VP of Customer Success, will be a featured speaker at the event––presenting "Smooth Sailing with Containers...Because Ship Happens"––as part of the Cloud Native Infrastructure track. As companies turn to container technology to deliver software faster, they are challenged with how to run deployments at scale while standardizing and managing release processes across hundreds of applications. By listening to this session, you'll learn how to drive containers at scale while delivering the organizational benefits required––without sacrificing speed. Some other notable sessions include:
  • DevSecOps at Scale–– How Team Autonomy Helps the Enterprise Stay Secure” – presented by Wiebe de Roos and Dominik de Smit of ABN AMRO.
  • Value Stream Mapping & Shared Outcomes ––The Path to Collaboration & Winning As A Team” – presented by Courtney Kissler of Nike.
  • Get Started with DevOps in Government” – presented by independent consultant Mieke Deenen.
