Innovation – Not Just For DISA Any More

In The New York Times opinion pages,  The U.S.S. Prius –,Thomas Friedman reports Department of Defense work on a number of green power initiatives. Just as at Forge.Mil, the DoD seems to be putting real effort into well thought out, efficient and promising ideas, leading the way for government in general, and arguably even in advance of the mainstream of commercial work.

Just one quote from Friedman captures the whole topic for me:

I don’t know what the final outcome in Iraq or Afghanistan will be, but if we come out of these two wars with a Pentagon-led green revolution, I know they won’t be a total loss.
