The DevOps Leadership Summit Wrap Up
On June 16th DevOps leaders from around the world converged on the EYE Film Museum in Amsterdam to join part in the DevOps Leadership Summit. This sold out XebiaLabs customer event featured speakers from numerous industries, discussing their transition to DevOps and the successes they have seen.
As attendee's began to arrive at the iconic EYE Film Museum, the venue was buzzing with quick introductions and small conversations, but that didn't last long. The DevOps Leadership Summit instigates in-depth discussion as experts began to share their best practices, biggest challenges and most success strategies for large scale DevOps implementation in the form of interactive discussions, presentations and networking time. After some quick opening words by Derek Langone, XebiaLabs CEO, Dave Farley, co-author of the original Continuous Delivery book, took the stage as the keynote speaking. Dave's talk, "Farley's Laws" concentrated years of experience into three simple laws:
- People are Crap
- Stuff is more complicated than you think
- All stuff is interesting (if you look at it the right way)
