Towards Shortening Software Release Times
Responding to dynamic user and market demands, getting stable products into production sooner and finding every possible way to shorten software release times, is the name of the game. This is not a pipe dream for star gazers. We equip ourselves with the right tools to support this call to action. This is what enterprises require and demand.
To that end, we’re pleased to announce a reseller partnership with CloudBees to market, license, resell and support “Jenkins Enterprise by CloudBees,” the enterprise version of Jenkins CI.
If you don’t already know, Jenkins CI is considered the most popular open source continuous integration (CI) server in use at thousands of organizations worldwide.
Jenkins Enterprise by CloudBees is a professional-grade offering, designed with enterprise needs in mind. It comprises open source Jenkins with the additional value-add of technical support from CloudBees expert engineers and additional plugins that address more sophisticated requirements typically found within large enterprises.
Jenkins is built with Java and is being extended into deployment to enable continuous delivery.
Jenkins excels at automating and monitoring iterative development processes such as builds and tests. It provides more than 900 plugins to support the building and testing of virtually any project with support for a broad range of applications.
CloudBees is no stranger to XebiaLabs. We've partnered on many Continuous Delivery events. Earlier this year we held a seminar for the local Jenkins user community. It was led by Jenkins founder himself, Kohsuke Kawaguchi, who recently joined CloudBees as their CTO.
Says Mike Lambert, VP of Sales for CloudBees, “We are pleased to deepen our relationship with XebiaLabs, a long-time trusted partner.... We know their organization to be reputable and staffed with expert professionals. We look forward to enabling our joint customers to benefit from continuous delivery.”
CloudBees shares a common mission with us -- to promote the benefits of continuous integration and continuous delivery that will drive software into production as efficiently as possible. We are very confident this partnership will greatly benefit the XebiaLabs community.Read the press announcement
