ISMS Forum -International Information Security Community- and its Regional Chapter of Valencia organized their Regional Forum on October 18 at EDEM, School of Business in La Marina de Valencia, Muelle de la Aduana, s/n, 46024 Valencia.
The session was attended by regional institutions, executives and cybersecurity manufacturers, and included presentations, interviews and round tables in which the main risks and threats that senior management should consider regarding cybersecurity in their organizations were analyzed and discussed. Without cybersecurity there is no Digital Transformation. Security is fundamental for business and, therefore, it must be a topic addressed by executives on the boards of any organization.
During the event, we looked at the everyday security challenges we have to face to ensure business continuity. Senior management is a key player in defining the cybersecurity strategy and, therefore, must be able to understand and face these challenges, and be prepared to manage any data breach or cyberattack that the company may suffer, and its legal implications.
