Since its emergence, many companies have made great strides with DevOps and have made progress in advancing their development processes. However, for DevOps to continue transforming enterprises, it must evolve to address longstanding challenges, take advantage of new opportunities and spread beyond its comfort zone. From scalability issues and change management bottlenecks, to poor visibility between development and operations teams and the difficulty of managing the increasing complexity of the cloud and microservices world, new technologies and ways of thinking are needed to take DevOps to the next level.
