Why This Matters Now

Atlassian will stop renewing Jira Data Center licenses in March 2028, and unsupported instances go read-only in March 2029. For programs operating under FedRAMP High, IL5, or air-gapped requirements, Atlassian Cloud is not a viable destination. These teams need a new platform, and they need to start planning now.

What This Session Covers

This session moves from timeline to execution, showing what a real migration path looks like. We’ll open with a brief recap of the end-of-life timeline for anyone joining the series in progress, then Terry Densmore of Digital.ai will walk through the Agility platform itself.

From there, we’ll map a typical Jira environment onto Agility component by component, including workflows, custom fields, marketplace plugins, CI/CD integrations, and single sign-on. Dave Witkin of Packaged Agile will bring the perspective of a delivery organization evaluating this shift, pressing on where the mapping isn’t clean and what that gap actually costs teams in practice.
