Back in 2014 CollabNet and Elego were sponsoring the first Gerrit Hackathon in Berlin. It was considered one of the most productive hackathons (190+ patches merged) so far. Great features like inline-edit, secure-store and x-doc plugin have been the results of the first Berlin Hackathon, here is our full recap.

As the hackathon was so successful, we are going to have the second edition of it next week.
This time we have 16 participants from various companies like Google, SAP, HERE, Ericsson, OpenStack, Qt, CollabNet and Elego.

The event starts on next Monday (March 14th) and will last for full five days (until March 18th). Kudos to CollabNet and Elego who will sponsor the event again!
It is a great opportunity to catch up together and work in collocated environment on the most important improvements and new features for the next version of Gerrit Code Review.

It is going to be really fun and exciting week! Lots of catch ups and coding squeezed into a 5 day event. If you are interested in possible topics look here. Can’t wait for meeting all the participants and start hacking the Gerrit. Stay tuned for our summary blog post once our hackathon is finished.
