App Management

Today Apperian announced our new enterprise app publishing API that allows developers and partners to directly publish apps to the EASE® platform. Our first partner to use the publishing API is Appcelerator’s Titanium Studio, and it’s exciting to see the interest here at the CODESTRONG conference in San Francisco. Our integrated solution supports the full application lifecycle, so that a developer can immediately make new apps and versions available to an entire organization, or a smaller set of folks involved in testing or piloting, right from Titanium’s Eclipse-based interface. I really like Appcelerator’s Titanium Studio integrated development environment (IDE) – it does a nice job of supporting enterprises that are developing cross-platform mobile apps that are truly “native” on the device.

This syncs up with Apperian’s philosophy as well, since we have believed from our inception in the importance of the user experience. Great enterprise apps get used, accelerate user adoption, and provide an ROI. Our goal is to help developers make it easier for organizations to quickly adopt applications by incorporating mobile application management capabilities from the start. And, with EASE features such as app comments, rating, and feedback, the entire process of creating great enterprise mobile apps gets better since developers can now have a conversation with users during the process.
