Leading the shift of enterprise technology becoming consumer driven are BYOD strategies that merge personal and enterprise data on to one device and employees who are increasingly “technologically-savvy, adaptable and innovative.”

The story? Analyst and blogger, Jack Madden, explained that organizations are struggling to modernize their Windows applications and Web apps that were built with a desktop browser in mind. Saying that “It can be prohibitively expensive and impractical to create mobile versions of these applications”, Jack offers another solution.
The answer? App refactoring.
The details? Jack explains that app refactoring solves this issue for organizations applying special remote protocols and software to the user interface of the existing applications turning them into mobile-friendly apps.
