VersionOne 2017 Spring Release

Enterprise Agile Planning

We are excited to announce the VersionOne 2017 Spring Release. The product release includes new and enhanced features that help you accelerate software delivery and increase enterprise agility. Here is an overview of what you will find in our latest release. VersionOne Lifecycle for Agile ALM VersionOne Lifecycle for agile ALM provides end/to/end enterprise agile lifecycle management that enables your teams at all levels–enterprise, portfolio, program, and team — to collaborate, develop, and deliver software faster. The 2017 Spring Release includes the following new features: Team Process Management Team Process ManagementTeam autonomy and self/organization are key concepts in agile development. A prescribed process for completing work is a great way to get started, but as teams mature they may adjust the process to meet their specific needs. Teams can now define their own delivery workflow while continuing to provide key stakeholders roll/up visibility into the work being delivered. Filtering Experience New filtering capabilities are our most requested feature in VersionOne IdeaSpace. We are excited to announce a new streamlined filtering experience for our grid views. The new filter interface gives you the ability to quickly perform advanced field selections and include multiple values for each field for data specific to your needs. Inline Asset Editing Users can now immediately update attributes using inline editing. Inline editing is a quick and easy way to select any attribute on the page and edit the text in the same place it is shown. It makes the interaction more direct and intuitive as the user can edit the text in place and avoid being directed to a separate edit page. VersionOne Continuum for DevOps VersionOne Continuum™ is an enterprise/scale continuous delivery solution for accelerating the speed, reducing the risk, and ensuring the quality of complex software deployments. Our 2017 spring release includes the following new feature and enhancements: New Flow and Risk Dashboards Continuum Flow and Risk Dashboards provide visibility into the performance of your DevOps delivery processes. Measuring delivery process performance and risk metrics allow you to identify areas for improvement across your workflow and accelerate the delivery of quality software. Flow Dashboards provide insights into your workload distribution across your phases, lead times, and workflow efficiency. Risk Dashboards help you analyze your commit distribution, rogue commit percentages and risk averages across your value stream. Enhanced Progression Activities and Controls Continuum Progressions support package/specific activities and controls that let you set and evaluate discrete events as packages move through delivery phases. Once you have defined the automated and manual activities, controls evaluate the output and automatically promote the package to the next phase. This workflow automation will accelerate software delivery and add an extra layer of process audit and control. Enhanced Manual Interactions VersionOne Continuum now supports the assignment of manual interactions to individual users or groups. You can now receive email notifications when your Pipeline Instance is in a pending state and requires immediate attention. This new interaction ensures faster resolution times for your workitems. VersionOne Connect VersionOne Connect ensures holistic visibility, consistent workflow and traceability by integrating all your ALM tools and interactions within VersionOne – allowing you to coordinate and monitor the flow of data between multiple tools. Our 2017 spring release includes the following new feature: New API Console The new API Console is a dedicated environment where you can familiarize yourself with the VersionOne Lifecycle API. The API Console is easy to use and helps you get comfortable creating your own integrations and queries. Spring 2017 Software Update Schedule Lifecycle Team and Catalyst editions will be updated on April 29, 2017. Lifecycle Enterprise and Ultimate editions will be updated on May 6, 2017. Conclusion Competing in today’s rapidly evolving business environment requires that enterprise software organizations get the right products to market faster. Our Spring Release continues our focus on helping enterprise software organizations deliver better quality software faster. Check out this video of our new and enhanced features to learn more.
