The 'Agile Development Tools' Dichotomy

Enterprise Agile Planning
You've probably heard the buzz while cruising Twitter, or maybe reading the Atlanta Business Chronicle, or perhaps mingling around in our Agile Managers Forum... Yesterday we introduced VersionOne Catalyst Edition. Why? To solve a dichotomy within the market for agile development tools. Up until now there have been plenty of free agile tools for use within single dev teams. And there are some really good, highly sophisticated enterprise tools for strategic planning with agile portfolio management. But for teams in between, there seemed to be a bit of a void. The idea behind Catalyst is to give those teams ramping up agile, but not quite at the agile portfolio management stage yet, a place to start small and easily grow at the natural pace of their agile adoption. Catalyst extends automated project planning, tracking and reporting beyond the development team to make the agile adoption easier. Take a look and let us know what you think: Catalyst Product Info: http://www.versionone.com/Product/Compare_Editions/Catalyst/Catalyst Product Tour: http://www.versionone.com/webcasts/Catalyst_Tour.asp
