U.S. Department of Treasury Uses EASE SDK Image Recognition Engine

Apperian has been chosen by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, to provide key technology used in the just released EyeNote iPhone and iPad application. EyeNote is a very cool app that will "denominate" -- figure out the value of a paper currency bill -- any Federal Reserve Notes as an aid for the blind or visually impaired to increase accessibility. The app uses the Image Recognition Engine which is part of the EASE SDK.
